Hagen
Dental Practice takes the fear, anxiety and pain out of anesthetic injections!
Dr. Hagen understands that some patients cringe at the mere sight of
a needle and syringe. To ease this discomfort, this practice now performs
all anesthetic injections with a revolutionary system called The Wand™.
This latest advancement in dental technology delivers a more accurate,
effective dose of local anesthesia with the help of a computer.
- It doesn't look like a syringe.
- It doesn't hurt like a syringe.
- It does work better than a syringe.
How does The Wand™ work?

A microprocessor inside The Wand™ automatically compensates for different
tissue densities. The anesthetic is delivered at a constant pressure
and volume that is typically below the threshold of pain.

The computer provides a flow of anesthetic directly ahead of the needle.
This numbs the site of insertion and develops a "pathway of anesthesia"
meaning you hardly feel the injection at all.

The source of discomfort for most injections is not the needle. Actually,
it is the flow of the anesthetic into your tissue that causes the pain.
Since The Wand™ delivers the anesthetic at a variable flow rate, the
system provides a comfortable injection every time.
With The Wand™, you are more comfortable throughout the procedure. Also,
Hagen Dental Practice may be able to utilize new techniques that could
decrease or even eliminate the lingering numbness of your tongue, lips
and face following a procedure. The Wand™ helps all patients have a
more pleasant, positive experience during their visits to the dentist's
office.
